For the first hundred or so episodes, this show was actually titled, "The Adventures of Gracie". Then the name was changed to "The George Burns & Gracie Allen Show" but it became commonly referred to as "The Burns & Allen Show".

Just 5 months after the George Burns and Gracie Allen radio show left the air, the Burns and Allen TV Show aired its first episode. The series lasted for eight seasons and 291 episodes!
